Spirit 3D Screw-Lock Carabiner

Unlike most locking carabiners, Petzl designed its Spirit 3D Screw-Lock Carabiner for climbing-specific situations like belay stations and top-rope anchors. Made solely out of aluminum, this is Petzl’s lightest carabiner, and its H-shaped cross section gives it a surprising amount of durability with a superb strength-to-weight ratio. It has a very compact size to keep anchors clean, and its size helps accommodate multiple climbers at a single belay station. Despite its compact quality, this biner has a wide contact surface for better rope glide that also reduces wear on the carabiner for excellent longevity. The screw-lock sleeve is easy to use and provides efficient clipping, and the visual indicator clearly points out whether it’s locked or not. This pear-shaped carabiner also features a keylock nose for snag-free clipping every time.
